The most exciting musical news to wrap up 2024 is the announcement that the legendary Paul McCartney will be visiting our country for two nights at the WiZink Center in Madrid this December. This comes eight years after his last visit and four years after the planned 2020 concert, which was canceled due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The concerts are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, December 9th and 10th, with tickets going on sale on June 21st. Pre-order reservations are already available.

The Liverpool genius arrives in Madrid as part of his “Got Back” tour, accompanied by the musicians who have been with him since 2022: the renowned Rusty Anderson, Brian Ray, and Abe Laborie, among others, forming a top-notch backing band. In Madrid, fans can expect to hear classic hits from the Fab Four such as “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “Get Back,” “Lady Madonna,” “Love Me Do,” “Something” (by Harrison), and “Hey Jude,” among other iconic songs from the Liverpool band. Additionally, there will be tracks from Wings and his solo career, including “Live and Let Die,” “Band on the Run,” and “Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five.”

Tickets will first be available through an official pre-sale, accessible with a code for those registered on PaulMcCartney.com. The second pre-sale is limited to Banco Santander customers and will run from 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 19th, to 8:00 AM on Friday, June 21st. General ticket sales begin at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 21st. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased on the specified dates through LiveNation, while general sales will be available from Friday on both LiveNation and Ticketmaster.
